Our Story

In 2008, Peace of Mind Counseling began with a vision of affordability, schedule flexibility, and readily available services. Initially run as a small practice contracting with other agencies, Peace of Mind became a standalone clinic in 2013, eventually growing into its three office locations comprised of 50+ counselors today. PoM is guided by Taoist principles in both business and treatment practices. Honesty and humility have been key values since the start, and the viability of PoM as a business can be attributed to its client-centered and employee-supportive mission. Commitments to consumers and employees are highest priorities at Peace of Mind Counseling.

In-School Therapy

Peace of Mind Counseling LLC is certified by the State of Wisconsin to provide Outpatient services in several local school districts. State certification permits us to conduct counseling sessions on site at a youth's school.

Financial obligations must be met by the youth's parents' insurance or Medical Assistance, not by the school district. Permission is granted on an individual basis.

In-Home Family Therapy

Peace of Mind Counseling LLC is one of the few area agencies offering this service to families of youth who exhibit severe emotional disturbances. Our therapists work from a systems perspective to assist parents with managing these challenging children. We also address ineffective family dynamics.
